Raven Watches Vintage 42mm
If you like vintage diver designs, specifically the early days of the Rolex Submariner, but not current vintage diver prices, Raven Watches has something you should see. The company, part of STEVRAL who also owns Benarus, recently release their new Raven Vintage 42mm. The name sets up what you are getting right away: vintage design cues in a modern, 42mm case. Some of the hard to find Rolex Submariners are the early non-crown guard models (6536 & 6538) and the military models with ?sword hands (5513 & 5517). The Raven Vintage 42mm combines elements from these ?models into this release.The case size of the Raven Vintage 42mm is clear in the title, with the lug-to-lug length coming in at a reasonable 50mm. Like the early Submariners the Raven has a large crown without crown guards. It really captures the look and spirit of those early watches, although the crown on the Raven is not quite as large. Rolex LV pics from Australia
Just a few pics of the LV in Action. A little salt build up after a rough day at the beach..My Friend Scott, the cellar door manager for Torbreck Winery in the Barossa Valley. My LV and my uncles recently "restored" Omega Seamaster from the 70's ?and his newly aquired quartz two tone Certina that he snaged from an AD for $300 AUD...I think its a great piece at that price.This is for Leo...Muscles in Thai Green Curry...Amazing!!I had the luck of being in Adelaide at the time of the Tour of Australia. This is the "comeback" race for Lance Armstrong. The Red arrows point to Lance, Team Astana with the Black, Yellow, and White Gyro Helmet. A great little place to eat in McLaren Vale. The Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Opera House and a Pratt and Whitney departing SYD for SFO...the end of a great trip to see the family. Ill post more pics over the next few days...Hope you enjoyed..Just a quick glance at some of the things I did while "Down Under"

Need help with my Hamilton RR special 52
I recently picked this Hamilton Electric RR Special 52 up at my job, and was just wondering if someone could help me with it. It doesn't seem to want to stay in the case right. It is very loose. I feel like the reason may be because it's missing this round piece that goes inside the case back, but am not sure: I really want to wear this watch, but I don't want to damage it. So if someone could tell me if this is the reason it's loose inside the case, please let me know! If that's the case, I would also really like to know if or where I can buy the piece I need. Thanks in advance!
