Philip Stein 21TBFBCNM wrist watches news:
Do you remember the Zenith Defy Xtreme watches from the "Nataf Era?" The king of that collection was the Zero-G Tourbillon. A few years later a rework of half a million dollar watch's movement shows up cleaner and more pretty in the Christophe Colomb. It was a resurrection of any interesting technology by now Zenith CEO Jean-Frederic Dufour - who has been credited with the thematic and stylistic revival of the brand. And it is here just in time for Thanksgiving!Read my full article on the Zenith Defy Xtreme Christophe Colomb watch at Haute Living here.
I like the looks of white faced watches and would like to get a white faced diver. Does anyone have any info on any white faced Seikos? I would like one that is reasonable available and not too expensive. New would be good but pre-owned is OK too.I found some that look good in a post by Knight Watchman, but haven't found any available.I like the looks of the White Knight - SKXA47.But I believe that they are discontinued. I have searched ebay but none are listed. Does anyone know how available pre-owned models are? And how much one may go for?Other white faced ones I saw in Tigercat's post are:SKA298 - Big Boy or BossSamurai SNM009Info from Knight Watchman's post, and I think he got the photos from Tiggercat. I hope that they don't mind me linking to their photos!
I was interested in the new 42 ceramic as I¡¯m looking for a easy daily AP. Had some time to kill and stopped by the boutique today. While the overall weight makes it an easy piece to wear, the ceramic bezel did not have the vertical lines that the 44¡¯s have. It was a smooth finish. The one thing that I could not get past to put a deposit down was the strap. All other new AP rubber straps are all matte finished and pliable. This strap was stiffer than usual. (The best strap is on the titanium 44)But the biggest non starter was the shiny strap. It¡¯s like how a rubber strap gets after years of use. I had the 44 titanium out as well and the salesperson said she noticed it too. Here are some pics...And for the strap...
I would never in a million years have this done, but am just curious... would Rolex be able to swap out the SD43's crystal/glass for one without a cyclops during a service?
I picked up my White Gold GMT 116719 BLRO today to go with my White Gold Daytona 116509.I phoned my insurer to add the BLRO, & they cancelled my cover!!I tried AssetSure who simply cover watches, jewellery etc, they wouldn’t cover them due to the values. As I have Private banking with NatWest, thankfully they have agreed to cover my home contents and buildings plus the watches etc for ?120 per month. The stipulation is i get written valuatuons on both watches.Any suggestions for me to get these valuations done pleass? My AD, Goldsmiths said they outsource now. 1st item is ?60 then ?50 for the next one....?110 seems too steep.
