Philip Stein 1GFWABR wrist watches news:
Gc watches are one of the more mainstream watch brands that we enjoy. Gc is the higher-end arm of Guess watches, which produce good looking timepieces that offer a fair amount for the money in the mostly $500 - $1,000 range. Modern and with a focus on urban style, these are appropriate timepieces for people who want a good-looking yet contemporary timepiece to go with their lifestyle. We are really proud to bring you one of the very best Gc watches we know of as a giveaway item this month on watches-dealer. This is the Gc-3 (ref. X93003G2S) Automatic which incorporates the design aesthetic we like from the brand with features meant to satisfy the demanding watch lover. The Gc-3 is part of the "Sport Chic" collection and comes in a 44mm wide steel case. This model has a PVD rose gold toned bezel with matching appliques on the dial. The masculine case has a mixture of sporty angles mixed in with its overall round shape. While technically a dress/casual watch, it has a number of sport watc
Tiret says the watch was recently presented in a diamond exhibition at the Museum of natural history - where high range decorated Diamond watches were posted. While it is not mechanically complex, the special tired watch for Usher is a look interesting on the life of Usher and the types of products that RTO makes. According to them, the brand is only custom watches and jewellery at this time. Usher is said to have paid the sum of $250,000 for the watch to measure.
A service success story! But, this one doesn't involve a RSC. Some of you may recall that I recently purchased this for my Dad After taking delivery of that one, we elected to get his first Rolex, a 12-year old (bought new) 15210 SS Date with a silver dial, serviced for the first time. It was losing about 5-7 minutes per month, so it was sorely needed. Dad, not being a WIS, wasn't bothered much and just reset the time every month. The 15210 was, and remains, my Dad's "daily driver." The President is only for special occasions. Anyway, it came back from service at a local Rolex AD with a talented in-house watchmaker. Several parts were replaced, including the mainspring, the crown tube, and the crown. There were some rotor parts replaced too, but I can't recall which ones. Anyway, the movement is very smooth when setting the time, and it has been keeping time well (for a change) It was costly, but the turnaround was just over 2 weeks, and the AD gave my Dad an Ebel Loaner Aut
I just got a Hamilton for dressing up and now I need a vintage Omega for the rest of the time. I was wondering just how durable they are - shock proof, water proof or resistant. etc.? I'm out in the sticks alot and my watches tend to get a full dose of the outdoors. What model would you recommend? Thanks!John
