- I was looking for a nice casual watch. However, this is a little cheap looking. Also, I didn't think about the fact that I need to get it sized and that's going to add to the price (making it less of a value).

Rado R30939125 wrist watches news:
Well, it's decision time once more. It happens to be the start of watch season, and it's coming down to a few vintage buys or a major modern purchase. Here's the root of the problem:The new AT caliber 8500 with the blue dial. Owned a caliber 2500C 36.5 mm AT before and liked the looks. Swore I'd buy the new 8500 mid-size if Omega ever came out with a blue dialed version (as in THIS THREAD) - and here it is, almost as if they listened. Scary, huh? Tried a grey dialed version on at the Omega Boutique in NYC and dug it immensely. Of course, recent purchases like GETS' AT aren't helping the to abate the desire. The problem arises when I look at my 34 mm Portofino. It's a rock steady performer and a great looking watch too. One has to go because I only want a single modern blue dialed watch. Now that I have a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket the itch is getting worse. What's an addict to do?
Hello Folks... Got a 3 month old dark side of the moon and noticed today that when I start the stopwatch the minute and hour counters at 3 o clock are stuck in the 12 position while the stopwatch keeps spinning. Is this a known issue with this model? I have my PO for 3 plus years now and it is solid... I am surprised I have an issue on this brand new watch!Any suggestions? See pic below... Thx in advance
Hello All,After several months of research and debating between the Sub C and PO. I am extremely happy with my decision. This piece is beautiful and elegent. I would like to thank Fr. John for his advice and knowlegde regarding the PO LM LE. I was taking a chance prior to purchasing the PO because I had not been able to see in the flesh. After several calls to different Omega boutiques and AD's I was able to locate this time piece through a AD. I'm glad I jumped on the piece. A few hours later the Omega boutique in Houston notified me that they had no remaining inventory. Here are a few pictures my friends. Enjoy!
Hi, I think I've managed to over-wind my Calatrava 5196G as, when winding, it is now making a grinding sound.Has anybody experienced similar, is it serious (I've allowed it to run down just in case) and is a PP service the best remedy? Many thanks.1PFC
We seemed to be fascinated by switching bracelets between models. Maybe putting a brushed 39mm Explorer or a Sub-C bracelet onto your GMTII-C.Please reply with your success or fail experience with swapping.I will start.A 214270 (39mm Explorer) bracelet on a 116710 (GMTII-C) - FAIL. Even with thinner springbars, still a fail.
