- This watch has a pretty wrist band. It is sturdy and WILL pull hairs out if it is stretched at all. OUCHY! It has a nice face and the two-tone color is pretty.

Hamilton is offering a revisited and gently nostalgic interpretation of the Pan Europ, the brand¡¯s first automatic chronograph launched in 1971 and equipped with the famous Caliber 11. With its sturdy, slightly square case, red hands and blue dial and bezel, the new Pan Europ radiates tradition. The 1,971-piece limited edition is equipped with a Swiss high-grade automatic chronograph movement, the H31 caliber. The image below may be enlarged with a click.TECHNICAL INFORMATIONMovement Automatic, H31 calibre, 60-hour power reserveFunctions Hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph and tachometric scaleCaseStainless steel, 45 mmSapphire crystalWater-resistant to 100 m / 10 ATMDialBlueColored nickel handsBlue unidirectional rotating bezelCounters at 9 and 3 o¡¯clockDate window at 6 o¡¯clockStrapCrocodile pattern chestnut brown leather
I just received a new Gen 2 Monster by USPS today. Unfortunately, it was just in a thin unpadded envelope. I wouldn't normally think anything of this, but the watch was not in its box, it was loose within the envelope with no padding around it. Why would a business ship a watch this way, you may well ask? Well, below are photos of the box that was in the envelope with the watch. I assume at some point the watch was in the box, but it wasn't when it arrived. When you see the photos, you'll understandYes, it actually arrived with the box in that condition, and the watch had come out of the box and had just a soft envelope between it and whatever it was subjected to by the USPS! I see no damage, and it appears to be running normally. Should I be concerned, or would any problems be likely to manifest immediately?
My first real luxury watch was a speedmaster day/date, which I loved, and it fit my wrist perfectly at 39mm. I sold it a while back because I wanted the ¡°real¡± speedmaster. I finally got the pro and it lives up to every bit of the hype, but is it too big for my 6.75 inch wrist? I hate large watches on me and normally don¡¯t go over 40mm. What do you guys think ?
So did Panerai get rid of sandwich dials all together? Sorry for the elementary questionsteve
