Seiko SRZ391 wrist watches news:
Luxury watch durability is an important issue to both consumers and retailers. People who spend money on expensive watches have a certain expectation of strength and durability, and those expectations aren't always met. We are talking about the type of activity a timepiece is designed for and when it is likely to break. In short, there is an educational and informational problem in the watch industry surrounding the issue of explaining to customers when wearing their new high-end watch is a good or bad idea.I recall a few months ago leading a seminar about watches to a group of retailers. A few jewelry and watch retailers began to complain that watch brands don't do enough to tell customers what is and is not appropriate when it comes to how to wear their watches. It seemed that people would go rock climbing with their new Patek Philippe or Swimming with their new Chopard dress watch. Watches In Today's Retail MarketThis topic is really important. And discussing it is going to piss off a lot of people, but I need to get it off my chest. It actually isn't just about the watch industry and I am not really trying to advocate for change, but rather using the luxury industry perspective to discuss a particular set of observations. The previous article I linked to above discusses all of the reasons watches as luxury goods are ex

Spotted this on the website recently - Oris have added another bezel to the Worldtimer. Removed the cities and simplified it with a 24hr bezel. What do you think? The new bezel:And the 'original'
I have this beauty for 10 years now and 3 bracelets later I had her serviced in Germany when I stayed their for 4 month. She started running behind quit a bit! It took about 8 weeks to get her back but they did an awesome job and she looks like BNIB and runs like a champ!!The case and bezel had some scratches and after they polished the watch she doesn't have any marks left. After having two leather bracelets I decided to go with the rubber one this time and like the band and the clasp alot.I really think that the rubber will hold up a lot longer then leather
