During this time they developed more derivatives off one base movement instead of many different movements in an attempt to standardize & streamline their production. Longines was also aware that many other brands were making a wealth of profit from less expensive, but still precise, movements. Need suggestions for a rubber strap for my SM300. The OEM bracelet has a single snap clasp that is not secure enough for daily use, I've had it primarily on a NATO but if I get it wet in the shower or at the pool it takes 4 hours to dry so I'd like to get a rubber strap or another steal bracelet (not mesh) to put it on. Any and all suggestions welcome for a 20MM wide bracelet/strap.
Obviously this question is posted in the Patek section, but since several of you own both, what do you prefer, Patek 5711 or AP ROO?
