Seiko SRN049 wrist watches news:
Hello,, I've posted in the general forum as I'm asking for info on a selection of watches one of which is this model- the Breitling Montbrillant 38mm case 18k gold.europastar/europastar...eitling205.jpgI want to get it in the mid-size (38mm)How does this model in the smaller size compare to the other larger Breitlings and is the movement and all just as desirable? any one have experience with this or similar models? Thanks you
I recently purchased an all original (except for the buckle) 1937 18k Richmond and was very surprised at the deal that I got. I'm wondering why the market has become so soft for these vintage watches? It seems anything other than the rarest of vintage American made watches can be bought at rock bottom prices right now. Does anyone have any history on the Richmond? Or does anyone know where I might find an original 18k Hamilton buckle for the watch? Thanks!
Since I am not an expert for womens watches I could not answer completely the question of a German member at one of "our" boards there. Maybe some of you can help and teach us more about it. I'll post the link to the watch in question underneath. The owner assumes that it looks like a Marietta and referred to a catalog pic she found in the net. But then the cord strap seems also to be another one than those pictured in the catalogs for various other models. My guess was, it could be a Marietta case which was changed by the (or a) jeweler to meet the specs for this broader band on behalf or as a special wish of the customer. So what's your opinion? Some facts:the case is gold filled and th

In the last few years Panerai has grown from a cult brand to a mainstream one and now produces so many models and variations, even a hardcore collector and enthusiast such as myself cannot even keep up. I love the little details that Panerai has done from year to year and liked how they produced limited numbers of pieces which were all rather unique in their own right (Panerai 127, 232, 249, 36 etc to name a few). These pieces were sought after because of its availability but also its unique look and history.Fast forward to today and many of the guys I know that used to have every Panerai under the sun including all the different variations have started to dump their collection as too many models started looking alike and Panerai didn't seem to stick to their core models, designs and heritage. When a limited production isn't a limited production anymore is also pretty disturbing for most of the collectors I know, see 448, 424 and 249, 382 and 507. While these are not the same, these we
