Seiko SUP133 wrist watches news:
I would like to change the bezel on one of my Electric Blue SMPs. Not the insert, but the entire part as one is pretty dinged up. Does this require any special tools or anything? How is it done? Thanks,Aaron
This comes to my head based on two threads: John's post about Rolex price increases, and the thread in the general section about what watch you would get for $5000. I thought about what watch I would buy for 5k, and since I am a Rolex fan above all other brands, I immediately thought "thats easy! I'd get a datejust." Not so fast though. Let us assume, as I am comfortable doing, that John has reliable information, and then let us pretend that it is a few months from now, after the increase has taken place, and then ask yourself the same question. Now picture yourself walking into an AD and saying I'd like to look at Rolexes for 5k and under. Guess what, you have one option, the Air King. $5000 gets you a 34mm stainless steel Air King (I love this watch so AK owners don't take that as an insult).I have a feeling that many of you will not agree, but in my mind, something is wrong with this picture. The problem is based on two factors:1. Rolex price increases are so far beyond inflation th
Hi everyone, I apologize in advance if this is a repeated questions but I couldn't find anything when I searched. I have a AP Diver that was purchased new in March of 2013. Just yesterday the seconds movement stopped working. Winding it only has it move for about 5 seconds before it stops again. Is this a service that is required? Anyone have a similar issue? I would appreciate any help very much!
So I as you know I was the first to detest the 42mm roos becouse of lack of ceramic bezel. I had the 44mm and even though I have a 7 inch wrist I struggled with size. I also came to realize the ceramic wasn't indestructible, ex I managed to scratch and also chip the bezel. So I walked into AP in NYC and this caught my eye. Tried it on and obsessed about it for a week,Literally nonstop.Even though I didn't buy from them they were awesome. Hats off to Ap it's just perfectly balanced and the perfect size for me. I am also mentally prepared for my first scratch, I hope. This watch is breath taking in person and very hard to photograph.
Hi Rolex forum members!I am of skinny build and have quite small wrists (14.5cm or 5.75 inches). I am also a huge fan of the GMT Master II BLNR, but am unsure about whether the watch's bracelet will wrap firmly around my small wrist. I have been unable to fully test this out at my local Rolex AD as all the watches on display always have a majority of the links in-tact.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
