- Very, very nice watch, it looked well worth than the sale price; my only complaint is the missing plastic guard you usually find at the back and at the bracelet clasp, making me think that the watch was used and/or returned.

TAG Heuer WAN2110.BA0822 wrist watches news:
Hey guys,I went to my local Omega AD and found out the prices of few of the models I am interested in. He didn't have any on display at the moment, but he said that he could get it for me whenever I wanted. He's also offering me a discount of 20%. As some of you know, I'll be traveling to Singapore at the end of the coming week (provided I get my visa on time) so I just wanted your inputs on the price offered to me locally vs the price I can expect to pay in Singapore. Here are the prices at AD close to my house:Seamaster 300m 2231.50.00 - $2500 before disc, $2000 after disc2234.50.00 GMT - $2950 before disc, $2360 after discThe ones that I was really looking for, the classic 2254.50.00 and the 'Great White' GMT weren't available.AM I being offered a good price, or will I get a better price if I pick it up from Singapore? Thanks a lot guys!
I picked up this Lee on the "swamp" about 2 years ago. I've been saving it for a restoration project when I can get some funds together. But 2 things about it are strange:Dial seems to have a strange "fish scale-like finish". Is this the result of aging or was the dial made like this originally?Inside caseback inscriptions indicates case was made by Solidarity. Will Roseman's web-site says Lee cases were made by Wadsworth. Is this a re-cased watch?Although movement serial number seems to be from correct period for "Lee" (Ca. 1933)?Any thoughts appreciated.Mark S.
Hmmafter asking the question in the title, I don't have anything else to say!
Big deal - but wait, there's morethe watches in question are about (or at least) 22 years old .So what were the odds that I was sitting in a training class when I looked at the person sitting opposite me and noticed (as we sad watch people do) a yellow faced watch. "Hmmmthat's a bit unusual, not many people like or wear yellow dial watches, wonder what it is? It looks a bit familiar, kind of like my.hang on, exactly like my Seiko" - circa 1989.Fortunately he didn't think I was a complete nutter when I asked him about his watch (it's a constant risk when dealing with non-watch-obsessed people), and it turns out it belonged to his father who had an identical (or similar, I couldn't really tell from his description) white dial version - I'd love to see that one.Anyway, 'this thread is useless without pictures', and 'it didn't happen if there's no pics' so.excuse the cellphone camera quality, here are our two Seiko chronos, both in remarkably good condition after the aforesaid 22 odd years
