TAG Heuer TAG Heuer 47620 wrist watches news:
Can an AD still sell a new watch, if it has never been worn, from 2004 (F serial number), or do they have to turn it in / sell it by a certain date?
I have been in Indonesia the last few days and I sure wish I had a GMT watch with me. Keep waking up too early each morning getting my time mixed up.Internet connection here at my hotel is unpredictable. Finally some working speed this morning after 3 days of lag. Anyway...anyone know of a GMT with day date to recommend? :D
This should probably count toward the July acquisitions/arrivals, but I won't wear it, and am not sure what to do with it. When I bought my Orient with a red/black dial, they were running a 49% off and get a free surprise watch, and this was the free surprise watch. It's not bad, just not a style I will wear. The dial looks enamel-ish, and has a tiny, micro-orange-peel texture that you don't notice unless you are looking closely. From typical look-at-your-watch distance, it looks pretty good. What would you do with a watch that you won't wear, is in new condition, and might not sell for a price that is worth the hassle? The strap is marked "genuine leather" but at first glance I thought it was rubber. It has a butterfly deployment clasp (I think butterfly is the right term).
Ever have those moments that you feel the need to change watches constantly?I have the day off tomorow and got home a little earlier than usual today and I am in full watch indecision mode!!I think I have worn 5 watches in the past 6 hours!!Acccutron (1973)Timex (1975)Planet OceanAccutron "Eagle Pilot"Accutron Gemini (square auto)_And I may slap on the trusty and stealthy RDII before I turn in!!!Woe is me!!!
I'm curious to know how many have decided to buy PM versions because the SS is simply impossible to get. I know this happened to me. Like everyone else, I wanted a 5711 in steel, but at some point the value proposition flipped when the practical cost of getting one skyrocketed. So I went with the rose gold version, and I'm happy with it.I'm starting to think the same way with the Daytona. Every time I visit my AD, the only ones in the case to even try on are the PM versions. So after putting the Platona on a number of times just to see how the Daytona looks on my wrist - guess what - I think I'm hooked...If this has been their strategy all along, to prop up demand for PM models, it appears to be working. On fools like me at least. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
