- Beautiful watch, great features and very accurate. It should be worn as a casual or dress watch. It is not a watch for a very person. I also have the white face brown band model. Very good value.

TAG Heuer CAM2110.FC6258 wrist watches news:
I just looked at the antiquorum auction sight and was very pleasantly surprised to see that a large number of recent sales of the Zenith Daytona with complete sets have increased in price. I guess those folks that have been telling me that they can now be bought for 10K or less are wrong.
Here's a link to a question I posed in the GDF:74.50.21.220/~watch18/forums/...433#post134433Add in anything you'd like - I'd appreciate some of the regulars here chiming in. Thanks!
Here are some [large] pics of my Seamaster 550's movement that my watchmaker sent me. I bought the watch for $100 with an obviously refinished dial, wrong [omega signed] crown and a "working, but as-is" condition. I knew it had "good bones" (as my wife would say), but after turning the crown to hand wind it, I was pretty convinced the movement was a rusty mess inside. You could just feel (and hear) the filth and rust and gunk as you hand wound it (or so I thought!).Turns out there was a lot of oil that had "migrated" all over the movement, but no filth! After being completely disassembled, cleaned and serviced, the **** thing looks brand new to my eyes! I've had plenty of watches cleaned and serviced, but none of them surprised me like this!I'll post more pictures when it comes back. Right now the dial is being RErefinished. Hopefully international will do a better job than the previous owner!-James
Just found this great forum the other week and didn't realise my interest in watches. I currently have 2 longines (quartz & mechanical), a 1982 120M quartz Omega seamaster, a Titoni Airmaster, 3 Elgin pocket watches and a Planet Ocean with mesh on order (for the last 3 months, grrrr). The Titoni & the quartz Seamaster both need repair Living in Melbourne Australia, Where can I purchase a tool to remove the back of these?ThanksRob
Did I miss it? Can someone post the link please or I guess we could start one.
