- Cheap-looking, oversized, hunk of shiny metal. I was appalled when I received it. No way would I give this as a gift to anyone, especially not to my husband, from whom it was intended.

TW Steel TW620 wrist watches news:
This is a guest post written by Aaron Sigmond, a watch and luxury journalist who is also the editor and content curator of Mechanics of Style. MoS is a lifestyle magazine produced by Swiss watch maker Girrard-Perregaux to complement the lifestyle of the average Girard-Perregaux watch owner. Currently on Mechanics of Style there is a contest where you can win a Girard-Perregaux Golden Bridge Pen, we suggest you check it out.MOST OF LIFE¡¯S big questions boil down to ¡°Who are we, and what are we doing here?¡± Inevitably, any new publication, in any medium, must offer an answer, and that¡¯s just what Girard-Perregaux¡¯s Mechanics of Style ¡ª a digital journal for the modern gentleman, covering everything in life that accompanies a fine wristwatch ¡ª attempts to do.Start with the ¡°we.¡± Many years ago ¡ª long before I could truly appreciate a Girard-Perregaux, or anything that remotely approached its standards of craftsmanship ¡ª I coined a phrase: ¡°Because style never goes out of fashion.¡± Redunda
Have searched this forum and the internet for Patek watch bands. Can't find them on the Patek site either. Is there any site that shows what is available? Thanks

I just read an article in one of the watch mags on regulateurs. There have been a few times I almost bought one (Oris). What has kept me from pulling the proverbial trigger is difficulty telling the time at a glance. Those of you who own a regulateur, what's your feeling about these unique timepieces?
Hello everyone,First time poster... after dealing with me for 14 years and having 4 of my children I¡¯ve decided I want to treat my wife to a nice watch. This is something she would never consider buying for herself or expect it but I know she will be thrilled and she deserves it. I¡¯ve narrowed it down to a 36mm steel Datejust with a white Roman dial or the 36 Datejust with fluted bezel and diamond dial. I live in Chicago have have visited 2 ADs, one offered me no discount (I didn¡¯t push as I didn¡¯t like the salesperson) and the other offering 10-11%.I know I can get a better deal on here or grey dealer but I want this to be ¡°new¡± so she could exchange if she wants to and she can go to the AD for fitting, sizing, extended warranty, cleaning, buffing, etc... what type of discount should I expect for these models? Im paying cash and both agreed to ship to my business out of state to save on taxes. Thanks in advance for the info!
