I thought that I had found a watch worthy of an extended hunt, so started finding out about it. The first thing to do of course was to check current models, which I did. Unfortunately it was different to how I had thought.Below is a pic of the watch. It seemed to have a gold tint to it, and I had thought that it had a champagne coloured dial. But when I did find it on the Omega site I see that it is a ss case and white dial.I still like it, and will have a look at one next time I am in an AD (not in the near future), but I am disappointed that my imagination got so far away from reality.Just thought I'd share.

We were in PP Manufactures, I saw a poster of a wonderful Patek (which was the first time I saw it). My AD who was with me just smiled (I love that kind of smiles) and he told me: Khalid, do you like this piece??!!!. What the ****?!!. Are you serious??!!!. This is really a piece of art!!. Then he surprised me with saying: I've this piece with me, it just arrived!!!!!!. That moment, I wished I ..... (donno about my feelings that moment)!!!!.However, I just got it today. And I should say that Patek Philippe did a wonderful job with this UNIQUE PIECE (its not published anywhere)!!!.So Guys guess what is it?????!!!!.Lets play!!!.Ps. Salih ... Pls keep away!!!. :-))

Proud to share some better shots of my new baby! The 3970 is a classic Patek piece that was produced from 1986 to 2004, and with its case size of 36mm I felt like it was perfect for my 6.25 wrist. In fact, I think it's so perfect for me that, well, I already have one in yellow gold (see this thread: .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=281994).Still, I tend to buy in twos just because I have this fantasy that I'll be leaving behind my watches as heirlooms to my two daughters. What should follow a 3970J? Well, I decided that it should, very fittingly, be a 3970 in platinum. Pic 1: It came very nicely sealed, freshly serviced by Patek USA.Pic 2: Very quickly unsealed, I made sure it was nestled quite comfortably and perfectly in its box.Pic 3: What about a close-up of that incredibly legible, perfectly proportioned silver dial? The 3970P usually came with a black dial with diamond markers; it's much more rare to find a 3970P born with a silver dial, and I was fortunate to find one with com
