How accurate are Pateks?
I was wondering if anyone has timed their Pateks? I can't seem to find any threads or accounts of their accuracy from owners.Are they within COSC? -OR-It doesn't matter if they are accurate because the craftsmanship makes up for it?

Rolex datejust hands and dial won't glow in the dark.
For our 50th wedding anniversary my wife gifted me a classic 1984 Rolex oyster perpetual datejust . This is my first experience with a Rolex and I'm very pleased. However, The watch dial and hands do not glow in the dark. I believe the glow agent is tritium and has a half-life of 12 years.. Is there some way to "re-charge" or repair the tritium? Any advice or direction will be greatly appreciated.

Rolex Daytona 116520: One Watch Experiment
I have not posted in a while since I've been busy with something or the other.It seems like that I am going over to the dark side by simplifying my life and owning / wearing just one piece. And that piece just happens to be the 116520. I'm getting rid of my small collection with some money in the bank and the rest being spent on the Daytona. I just want to try and see if I can be that one watch person. I'm treating this as an experiment and lets see what happens.I'll start posting some pics once I get it and keep this post updated on the experiment.
