Tissot T050.207.16.033.00 wrist watches news:
Hi Gang, have not posted for a while and thought I would send in a quick note and ask a question. Have not purchased a new watch for a while (as the wife might bury me in the back yard) and the time was due to get a new one, no not for me for my Father. Have always thought he would enjoy one but when I said something to him he would just say I don't think so. He is a very modest man and would never buy one for himself. So this year for Father's Day I thought I would give him one without him knowing of course. I think I found the perfect one, a 114200 Air King/Silver Dial/Domed Bezel. Very clean, understated, and most will not even know it is a Rolex, lack of cyclops and all. Visited my local AD whom I have purchased all mine, and he had just what I was looking for. Now to my question when looking through the booklets I noticed that it came with the Gold Service Booklet, the Green Rolex Oyster Booklet, BUT NO MODEL SPECIFIC BOOKLET, is this correct. Thanks for any help anyone ca

Before I spent the last 3 days exploring the internet I knew practically nothing about watches. Now I know just how much I don't know.My husband has his grandfather's watch. This is what I know:Patek Philippe8 Adjustments18 jewelsMechanical18K gold cushion shaped# 192-8-55case # 288120Think it is from 1920's.Does not have original strap, buckle and spring bars. Was sent to Geneve in 2014 for evaluation. They wanted $21,355 to repair it. At that point it was not running, although now it is, but losing about 10 minutes a day.Patek requires movement #, case # and model reference # to verify it.Would like to sell it but not sure what we are selling. The hands I haven't found anywhere. Can someone please identify this for me. I am not a watch person so cannot speak watch talk.Thank you for your help,Carol HoffnaglePS I don't need to be blown off with snide remarks. Either help me with your supposed expertise or don't bother.
I understand that when one acquires a watch you should not talk about it without pictures. I have acquired a few since August. Newbie here. Did an extensive search, but could not find the answer to this question - is there a specific deployant size that goes with the Speedy 9300 44.25 mm? The lug distance is 21 mm. Do you choose the strap first and a corresponding clasp to fit it?
