- Beautiful watch - I bought it as an early Christmas present for my husband, and gave it him when his old watch died suddenly. The face is quite large - so you either need to be confident (as my husband is) or have long arms.

I just bought a brown Bullhead in Caracas, I paid a fraction of its real price and even though it's well used and has some scratches and dings, it has everything original (including the fishbone bracelet) and its movement works perfectly and keeps good time. I bought a dark brown leather strap and gave the fishbone a rest, by the way. Yesterday I took it to my watchmaker for service, so I'll have to wait for a week to see my baby back. Here are some pictures of it, sorry about the quality but I took them with my cell phone (the first two were taken by the previous owner with a real camera). I promise to take some better pics when I have it back from service.I'll make a review of it soon. Stay tuned!
What an amazing watch. Every time I put it on I wear it for a long time. It still catches my eye on what a wonderful made watch it is. Just imagine what it's like to see through a space suit as you see the world just below you from so high above. It has so much history and the design is so old but is so timeless. And one tough guy to be on every adventure you have. What a piece of history. Timeless is the best word for it. It looks at you with wide eyes with how big the display is. Good stuff.
Right, so here's the deal, I bought my first ever Rolex in May 2017, the new Sea-dweller 43mm. I have always wanted the black sub date but this thing got announced at Baselworld and I fell in love with the dial and the pop of that red writing. Also the chance of owning a 50th anniversary edition watch was another pull. Now I've been wearing the watch for almost a year and my wrists are on the small side, 6.75 at best on a hot day! For this watch to look good on a small wrist like mine I feel like it has to be worn pretty snug and behind the wrist bone, which when you live in a warm and extremely humid climate it can get a little uncomfortable. Personally, it's just the protrusion of the caseback rather than the 43mm size that is the issue for me on a small wrist. Therefore, for me, it is not the most ideal daily wearer, considering this is my only 'high end' watch.Just recently, I have started to look at the BLNR more and more, a couple of things have pulled me towards this watch, blue
Have been waffling for some time on my first YG watch to mark my 30th birthday. Looked at Daytona¡¯s, Subs, DD 36 and 40 but decided for my first all gold piece and to mark an important year I couldn¡¯t go wrong with what is in my eyes the quintessential gold Rolex - the 118238. Special thanks to tonupbklyn on these boards for a super easy transaction and for keeping this in such pristine condition. Stand up guy and would recommend anyone to transact with him. Now for some pics!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
