Hello, All! Hope everything's going well in OmegaLand, home of perfection! I have a couple quick questions about the Speedy. Since this is not a diver's watch, I'm assuming it does NOT have a screw-down crown? Also, regarding the sub-dials, I know the one that reads 1-60 is the seconds. I'm just not 100% sure of what the other two are.. the one from 1-30 is minutes, I'm assuming? And the subdial from 1-12 is the one that confuses me the most. Is this measuring 1/10 of a second? Or 1/12 of a second? Or something else? Any clarification and/or explanations would be appreciated!
I am heading to the AD tomorrow to look at some watches. I have a few grand extra after all the xmas shopping. My question, does the 42mm or 43mm wear big or small? My daily is a DJII and it wears bigger than its 41mm would lead you to believe. I am used to wearing larger watches, IE Heritage 46, PAM's etc.I have a 7.25 wrist. Just wondering what you guys think. Thanks
I was browsing the Omega website today and stumbled upon what appears to be the watch of my (near-term) dreams: Aqua Terra Golf.I've always liked the design of the Aqua Terra, but the 39mm case didn't really appeal to me. I'm probably quite behind the times, but 41.5mm Aqua Terra + green accents is a winner in my eyes. Well then again, green is just my favorite color. (Thus I think the Sub LV is beautiful too.)Just have to save up and hope one pops up on the secondary market eventually!Anyone know of other watches with relatively normal (black/white) faces with green accents?
Just wanted to share this one with you guys. My youngest son was due in january, but obviously refused to let the hulk go. He needed it as his birthyear for when i give it to him in 20+ years.Next project will be an Explorer Polar 2015 for my eldest son. What do you guys have in store for your inheritors?
