- This must have been a return because it is a obvious the person remove some links, wore for a while and decided to return it. The watch is no longer a 7, but rather a 6. It''s going back!

Had to laugh at an Omega Boutique today, I was just having a look when one of the sales person asks if I want any help. I explained I was just looking and as Omeaga are pricing there new PO's close to Rolex Subs I would rather go Rolex than Omega, at this point he said Omega were now regarded as good as Rolex and people think of them as equal to Rolex. I could have said I don't think thats the case but feel I would have lost the battle, I know Omega have got better but I don't think they have caught up Rolex yet what do you think.
I dont know enough about watches to say anything technical, but these are two great watches. The Rolex GMT II Pepsi is a stone classic. The Omega Seamaster GMT is a classic in waiting.Lol X and Perdu have both done great reviews of the Omega recently, so I will just add a couple of my own observations.....Bezel....Rolex wins easily. Both in the colour combo and ease of use. That coin edge bezel will never be bettered !Lume...Omega wins by a street. I was always surprised at how poor the lume was on both my Rollies. Now I've got an Omega I can actually see the time in the dark as well.Date feature....I loath and detest the Rolex cyclops, so its a fantastic change to see the date without having to angle the cyclops just right.Size and weight....the Omega is slightly bigger (41.5mm to 40mm) and heavier than the Rolex. This is no bad thing, but is not really a factor one way or the other. Its only when you place them side by side that you really notice it.Caseback.....the engraved caseback on t
Hello Guys,Is 5167 heading to become the new 5711? At least it seems that waiting lists are getting longer, pre owned prices are getting higher and the overall interest towards this so called entry level Patek is increasing. What do you think? Is there less supply for 5167 or has the demand for 5167 suddenly during the last months gone up? 6 months ago there was plenty of supply for pre owned at 16K$ price level. Now they are starting at 19K. So whats going on?
I need the experts here to help me with an argument.Has Rolex ever made a 38mm Daytona? Thanks,Patrick
