Yesterday in Monaco, the Only Watch 2013 auction was held and the results are in. The event is meant to raise money for a medical charity, to which 100% of the proceeds go. Each of the watches submitted are totally unique and donated by the participating brands. People get very interested in the results, as it is not only a sign of the economy when it comes to Monaco's wealthy elite (and others), but also the interest people have in specific brands and models. The total yield of Only Watch 2013 was 5,066,000 Euros (most of which is thanks to a single watch).For 2013 there were some major winners and losers. Put this on General forum but since my options are so far all Omega.....?Hi,Just a bit of fun really but then again it may just push me over the edge to buy something!I have ?2,350 gbp ($3,800 usd).I want to use it for another watch, I already have a brand new 2254.50 (on Bond bracelet and with a "Non AC Cup" dial fitted).I'm dithering as usual but am tempted to buy a chrono, the exception to the chrono part being the DeVille "Power Reserve" which has been tempting me for two years now.I like a lot of watches but can't decide enough to pull the trigger.I am fickle but then again maybe it's just that I've made a few incorrect decisions and am scared to do it again?Either way I really want to decide before prices go up yet again!I like the Speed master BA 57, the "Patch" LE (although I'd prefer a date function), the DeVille chrono (very nice but will it wear too big for my 6.5 / 6.75" wrists?), the AT chrono and of course the DeVille Power Reserve.I really like the PO but the chrono is

Hamilton JazzMaster Viewmatic vs. Tissot Le Locle
I was at the big Macy's in NY today just to check out the watches and the Hamilton JazzMaster Viewmatic caught my eye. I've always really liked the basic Tissot Le Locle (although recently I've been thinking I want to spring for the Power Reserve version), but the Viewmatic has a similar look at a similar price.Here's the Le Locle in black:And here's the Viewmatic in black:(pics from stores on the Web)The Viewmatic is significantly smaller than the Le Locle and obviously uses Arabic numerals rather than Roman numerals, but other than the visual stuff, what's the general opinion on the difference in quality? Does anyone have experience with both watches?

Does the 2500c movement suck, or is it all overblown?
I see a lot of sellers posting that their Omega Planet Oceans have the 2500D movement and not the dreaded 2500C movement. I know that the 2500C is accurate because I was able to tell that from searching around here. My question is about durability. Is it just a vocal ~.05% failure rate or is it more like 10% failure rate on the 2500C movement?How much would it cost to fix a failed 2500C assuming the warranty expired?Thanks!
