Hublot King Power Unico GMT Watch
For those of you who love all of the Hublot content here is an exclusive look at a brand new one for 2012 with a new in-house made movement. This is the Hublot King Power Unico GMT watch. It has a unique way of showing 24 timezones on the dial and looks very slick. The idea is very similar to how the Girard-Perregaux ww.tc works, but just displayed in a very different manner.The four GMT discs move with the main time. Using the little red lines and city names around the bezel and inside of the dial you can tell the time in each of the 24 hour time zones. Neat right? I like the novel approach that combines a little Hublot, a time honored complication, and what feels like some Urwerk inspiration given a dial that looks like the satellite time display on the UR-103 series.The King Power Unico GMT watch will come in a 48mm wide King Power case in either 18k king gold or in black ceramic. I just received this Invicta 3262 at a good price and thought it would make a good beater for work. Below the picture I will describe my two dealings with forum sponsors and my one (and now only) dealing with Shop***A couple months ago I was in the market for a new watch and decided to give one of our sponsors a shot. After all, they do support this forum we so dearly love. On a weekend night I PM'd Larry at Tritons and asked if he had a specific model Invicta. I did not really expect a reply until Monday. I got one that night! Larry told me he showed one in inventory but he would have to double check Monday morning. He also quoted a price that was VERY competitive with Shop and Amazon. Early Monday he PM'd me back and said he had the watch. I payed and I am sure he shipped that day because by Wednesday or Thursday, can't remember now which day) I had the watch. Hi guys. At the risk of committing a breach of etiquette, I have a question about the braclet on my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. I have 6 links on the six o clock side and 8 on the 12 o clock side. It originally came with an extra half link on the six o clock side but I had it removed.My question is should I have an equal number on each side? I've read the most watches have less on the six o clock side becasue of wrist shape and because gravity wants to pull it down around the wrist. As far as I can tell the case is centered on my wrist and the clasp is centered on the underside of my wristHow do you wear your watches? Do you have uneven links on each side of the clasp. And this is how the AD set it up for me. Lastly, is this unique to this watch, perhaps?Sorry about this being on a Rolex forum, but I trust the members here above anyone else.Thanks.
