In one of those stunning stories only made possible by the Internet, in 2012 a man turned to Google to search for "Vacheron & Constantin" and "egg" to find that the jewel-encrusted gold egg housing a Vacheron watch he purchased for $13,302 in the early 2000s at a Midwestern flea market was in fact an 1887 birthday gift for Tsar Alexander III from?Peter Carl Faberg¨¦. It has now sold privately for millions,?likely?making it the most expensive timepiece on earth.The unnamed individual stumbled on a 2011 Telegraph article entitled "Is this ¡ê20 million nest-egg on your mantelpiece?" The egg was the third of 54 Faberg¨¦?eggs owned by the Russian royal family and had been lost since 1922. I'm trying to have my camera around when I get a chance to watch a little telly.One of the shows we like is 'Selling New York.' I've noticed these real estate cats wear some nice watches, so I thought I would snag a photo of a typical 'signing' scene. Sure enough, the guy was wearing a Bulgary.......another Bulgary.And then I was watching my Germans this morning. I saw Maradona over there in his nice suit and diamond earrings pacing back and forth and petting his rosary. (I always wonder why so many people bother god about sports. If I can only figure out what team god likes, I'll know how to bet!) Anyway, we know that Maradona is the face of Hublot, so I got my camera ready for a wrist shot.Got the perfect shot. Here he is a little sad; and here is his Hublot Big Bang 'Euro 2008.' $15,000. He looks good in it.

2nd Day of Ownership.
Hi, this is my second day of Rolex Submariner ownership and thought I¡¯d post a few pictures of it. There¡¯s a bit of a story behind buying this watch, 10 years ago I bought my first Rolex, also a Submariner; new from my local dealer in Stratford, UK. I later sold it on a whim and regretted it ever since.It was my 40th. Birthday last week and thought what the hell, and walked into the same shop and repeated history, although this time I intend to keep this beauty a lot longer. Regards,John.

11 year old GMT IIc
Here are more picks of my very well worn (daily for 11 years) GMT IIc. As you can see, it is a true beater. I wear it to all sports with the exception of karate. Tennis, snorkeling, kayaking, running, biking, weight lifting, showering, sleeping, etc. It has seen a rough life, but it is still mint in my heart. Look at the second photo...all those little craters on the side of case, this is the real moon watch! Notice very little stretch in bracelet. The ceramic bezel is truly mint, no scratches or fade, platinum numerals 100% present. The watch was serviced once 4 years ago. I still regret that I let the RSC polish the watch, as they erased the patina. The rest of the crew just mostly hang out in safe. I like them too, but the practicality is just not there for daily use. With my Rolex I never have to worry about what I am going to do that day.
