What's this doing on a vintage dial????
I recently came across this watch that looks like a Sea Glo or Sea XXXXX from the early/mid 60's. However, it has "SWISS" at the base of the dial which is suspicious for a pre-1969 Hamilton. Is it a later version Hamilton, or is it a bad redial / bogus piece? Thanks,Dennis

40th anniversary moonwatch
Hi I am an omega nut, I have 3 at the moment. 1 planet ocean, 1 planet ocean chrono with the orange bezel and I just picked up my new (for Christmas present ) gold/s/s broad arrow speedmaster with brown dial and gold accents. My question is this:-for my next Omega I am considering the 40th anniversary moonwatch. Do you think that this Speedmaster special edition watch is a good investment at ��3500. (I can get 10% discount of this price) do you think it will increase in value at all over the years? Any thoughts welcome about this watch. Thanks and happy and holidays everyone.

I do not understand many Forum commentators. For years they have been desperate because Rolex launched the GMT Pepsi and now I read them disenchanted.IMHO I think the new models are very nice and hopefully they have been successful with the new movement so that the watches are more accurate and are more time running when they are not used for a couple of days.. In praise of the Datejust
Is the Datejust under-estimated among watch fans? Maybe so. It's easily the best selling Rolex model, and has been for decades. So it's the watch that real buyers go for. We bang-on about the professional range...Submariners, Daytonas and so on..but that's not what a large slice of Rolex buyers want or desire. I've just bought a new 41mm Datejust with Jubilee bracelet. And it's every bit as lovely as my Daytona, but cost far less .....and you can actually buy one. Can't be bad.
