Vacheron Constantin 25559/000G-9280 wrist watches news:
In December 1999, Sotheby¡¯s made watch-auction history. The auction house sold the so-called Henry Graves Supercomplication ¡ª a pocketwatch originally commissioned from Patek Philippe by noted watch collector Henry Graves, Jr., and which featured 24 complications ¡ª for an astounding $11,002,500, still the world record for any timepiece at auction. Last week, Sotheby’s announced that it will hold a single-owner sale on June 14, 2012 in New York that will include more rare watches from the collections of Graves and his grandson, Reginald “Pete” H. Fullerton, Jr., a noted collector and connoisseur in his own right. The auction, called Watches from the Collection of the late Reginald H. Fullerton, Jr. and his Grandfather Henry Graves, Jr., will comprise a group of 13 pieces collected by Graves that have never before been published or appeared on the market, as well as a group of 42 wristwatches and an important Knibb Grande Sonnerie Long Case Clock, assembled by Fullerton

Good afternoon friends. I visited Ben Bridge in Scottsdale, AZ. Here¡¯s their inventory if anyone is interested. They have a stainless steel Yacht Master-II, two Daytona everoses, a white gold Daytona with blue dial, and a TT GMT Master II. That¡¯s it for the sports watches. Now, go get ¡®em!
Hi All -I¡¯ve been looking very seriously at a pre-owned GMT II LN as my first Rolex. Drove past a random AD today, stopped in and they had a new GMT LN and also a Submariner No Date, both fully stickered. Fell in love with the Sub No Date!! Love the simplicity and symmetry of it. My mind is changed! Im new to Rolex (though not new to watches) but I typically try buy pre-owned. This AD was adamant no discounts and I¡¯ll have to eat the tax. I don¡¯t like taking the depreciation hit but that said just browsing the ¡®for sale¡¯ listings it doesn¡¯t seem like I¡¯ll save a huge amount going pre-owned these days (assuming pre-owned watch is still under warranty). So, for the first time go ahead and buy a new watch? Or, wait and ty snag pre-owned! Thanks for your thoughts!
