The sun and the cold
Hi All,I am confined to the house today because I have a pretty impressive cold (man flu?).Just to make me feel even sorrier for myself the sun is shining gloriously outside so I should be out motorcycling or mountain biking or mowing the lawns or any one of the other things I enjoy doing of a weekend.However, just to make the best of a bad situation I thought "Things always look better in sunlight". So here are a few shots I took of my humble Omega collection with the sun streaming through the kitchen window.I hope you enjoy. It made me feel a little better anyway. So it was worth the effort.

Battery dead ??
Hi. This is my first post. Great site.I have bought my second Hamilton. C***co had a bacic Kahki filed watch for $118.00. Took it home and it doesnt work ??? Stupid question but is there some way of starting the mechanism or is the battery dead. The sticker on the back says to replace the battery prior to 04/10 !! So it should be good.p.s. my other Hamilton is a LLBean I bought 18 yrs ago...an automatic field watch which is no longer made.Thanks.

Ie wrist shots etc Ideally comparison with 15400 ( which I have already ) so I can gauge just how thin it is.... Sounds silly but I hope it isn't too thin for my tasteI'm hoping to get to Marcus next month to try it on but would really appreciate some shots if u have them. Cheers

Hi, I have been having some bother of late trying to purchase a Rolex 116610LV from AD¡¯s in the UK. I wanted to be added to a genuine waiting list for my next watch, but so far I have been kicked off of one (Fraser Hart, Stratford), and goldsmiths had a breakdown in communication between themselves and my nearest dealer (Watford), resulting in, yes you guessed it a few months later being told I¡¯m not on the waiting list, which is now closed and no further customers being allowed to be added (Watford) . So now I¡¯m wondering, is this common throughout the UK with AD¡¯s not opening their waiting list for this particular model?Is there someone that can point me in the right direction, as I did want to purchase through an AD and have the experience of buying new, but if it¡¯s not going to happen, i would rather just know now, as I¡¯ve already been given the run around, which is sad as this was meant to be a positive experience. I didn¡¯t have this with my Daytona, which was used and wasn¡¯t thro
