Alpina AL-750B4E6B wrist watches news:
Hello, I have a new Planet Ocean 8500 calibre (232.30.42.21.01.001) and have noticed it is running fast by about 8 seconds after 48 hours. It does not continue to gain time, but instead seems maintain the additional 8 seconds. Is this considered acceptable/normal by C.O.S.C. standards?
Hello! I'm so glad I found this forum. Hopefully some can shed some light on this watch. It was given to my mother by my father in 1941. I was told it is a Hamilton but there's no name on the face. Any help would be very appreciated.Hamilton 001.jpgHamilton 002.jpg Thank you!
I seen things like this happen in the pastwhen a seemingly rare watch comes up for sale, other ones seem to come out at the same time and completely by coincidence. On the swamp right now, there are two Altairs that just came up for sale within hours of each other. One looks a bit rough and has actually been re-plated. Too bad about the re-plate, but it still looks nice. The other one just came up a few hours later and it seems the person doesn't know what they have. Both have bids on them right away, but it's just so interesting to see a couple of them in one day.
I received a call late this afternoon that my 5204P-011 arrived. I will pick it up this week end. He sent me this picture.
Well I'm very happy to say I have the first new (to me) Patek of 2015 inbound! The only bad part is I will be parting with my beloved 5970G and probably my 5960/1A...but it will be worth it! Any guesses?Hope everyone's having a great weekend
