Repairing a bump on a vintage dial?
Hey guys, I recently obtained a vintage Ulysse Nardin Chronometer Co. piece at a local store for relatively cheap since I'd seen one before. This is the model in question, but not the actual watch. However, it has a pretty sizable bump in between the 1 and 2 markers on the face, pushing outwards from behind the face. I wasn't planning on cleaning the dial or fully restoring the watch, but I was curious as to whether there was an easy or cheap way to flatten the hill without severely damaging the face apart from taking it to a watchmaker, preferring to err on the side of caution. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the watch at the moment as its waiting for me back home while I'm at school, but thanks for any help regardless.

New to Omega - need some advice
Hi guys,There's something about the Speedmaster Professional that has always made me want one. Now that I am pretty well versed in all the Rolex model numbers and variations within a model I am learning about the Speedmaster.There seem to be several reference numbers for the Speedmaster, and the one I am trying to clarify is the one that is the one that NASA used as the First Watch on the Moon reference.Can someone please clarify what current reference number Speedmaster is the one I'm looking for and also the original reference and year of the original one which was used by NASA (I've been reading the year of production was 1969?)Thanks in advance! Looking for my first PAM and thought I would get the experts' knowledge and opinions. I'm wanting an in-house automatic movement, black dial, black strap, and date preferred.After brief review of all models, I'm leaning toward the 321 GMT with reserve.Would this be a good first? Is this model fairly popular, so in the event I have to flip, it would be liked by more than few?Thanks in advance for everyone's input, suggestions, opinions, etc...
