Replica Piaget Watches
In 1874 Georges Edouard Piaget sets up his first workshop on his family's farm and devotes himself to creating precise mechanical clock movements for prestigious watch companies. The small shop quickly gained business and soon the family business switched from farming to watch-making. Edouard's son, Timothee Piaget, took over the family business in 1911 and continued the same pursuit of quality as his father before him.
In 1943 the Piaget brand name becomes officially registered and they began producing watches under their own name. In 1945 they opened a new facility at La Cote-aux-Fees where the brand would become the creator of completely new developments in mechanical movements.
In 1957 a new movement, Calibre 9P, was developed at the new facility. This movement was an impressively thin manual wound movement. Just a few short years later in 1960 Piaget developed the slimmest self-winding movement in the world, the Calibre 12P, which was just 2.3 millimeters thick.
In 2004 the brand celebrated 130 years of watchmaking and jewelery design. Among the brands popular jewelry collection is the Possession line which was launched in 2005.
This is the ugliest watch case I think I have personally ever seen. What is so ironic is that the watch movement and dial itself are just fine, and totally mismatched with the watch case. This timepiece gets a "Fraggle Rock's Finest Award" for most cartoon rock formation style watch ever. What was Andre Checa thinking when he designed this watch? He was likely watching episodes of old Jim Henson Muppet television shows or movies. I get the watch, I just don't like it. This is another "home run" design from the radical French artist. You might remember the first quizzical creation of his that I discussed here (that he made as a piece unique for Romain Jerome). The watch movement is made by the very well-respected Christophe Claret - a maker of highly complex and beautiful watch movement. This timepiece (that I am not sure if it has a name) has a beautifully skeletonized movement, that has a tourbillon, and just the time as functions (Claret rarely makes movements this "simple"). In additi
Just about a month ago, we announced the release of the Autdromo Prototipo Brian Redman LE; you can check that out here. Well, in the last couple of weeks I've had the chance to spend some time with both the steel and gold plated models, and boy can I tell you, they're nice. Now, we've actually talked about the Prototipos many times before, which includes an in-depth review of them, so I'm not going to go through them again. Rather, today I'm just going to share with you a gallery of pictures I took. But rest assure, my thoughts haven't changed since the review though these new models do offer a slightly different twist on the theme. The build and finish quality is the same, they exude 70's style and simply a joy to wear. The biggest difference is the addition of gold plating for 100 of the 500 watches. I was surprised by how much I liked it. I'm not a gold guy, and have never been drawn to gold sport watches, but it worked. The gold was less blingy than expected, with almost a champagn
Ebay auction on now; item# 130511667351 is a Richmond. Everything looks right except all the hands are wrong (the minute hand also appears Rhodium plated) as well as the movement. It's a 982 Medallion serial# M20502 circa 1942 which does corroborate with the inscription on the back. The movement should correctly be a 982 serial# J prefix, as this model was only made through 1940. I'm a purist and when it comes to the rarer watches I'm not sure what to call this one, but certainly I'd think the value would be negatively effected. So what's your opinion, Franken or Mule?
So as some of you may know from my older post, i just got a used 15300 Royal Oak which arrived running several minutes fast per day. I sent it off the the AP service center in clearwater for diagnosis and repair. The watch is just over three years old but the previous owner never signed up for the third year warranty so the warranty period was expired. I was afraid I was going to get slammed with a 1k+ repair bill on a watch i had just purchased. Anyway, just hours after receiving my watch, I got a call from Betsy at AP customer service. She told me they were currently diagnosing my watch and that I would get a call the next morning with the diagnosis and repair estimate. This morning bright and early, I get another call from Betsy saying that the watch is apparently running fast due to displaced oils causing the hairspring to stick. She told me that even though the watch is out of warranty, they are going to do a complete service for free and give me a two year warranty on the watch.
I thought you might like a couple shi**y mobile phone photos of probably the first SMPc on TRF :)....I completely brushed the bracelet gently using a circular steel wire tool attached to my drill. I much prefer the more toolish looks of it this way. This watch is a tool for me & comes with me everywhere. Since it was a graduation gift from my lovely family it will always be with me ...

When I don’t wear a watch, I’m missing an opportunity to express myself.
Piaget Watches aren’t completely functioning less, but they are certainly redundant in today’s age. We all know that everyone has a phone that tells time. But to simply not to wear a watch is a hugely wasted opportunity.
When Do you initially get my Replica Piaget Watches , Do you used to wear it every day. Love the Quality of watches . They’re strong watches, can sustain hard hits (don’t try) and shocks and keeps time well.>
