Piaget G0A34133 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick and mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can¡¯t miss, let us know in the comments below. Here is a map of stores we have covered so far.Where to buy watches in Menlo Park, California?Menlo Park is well-known as a venture capital (VC) hub which funds many of Silicon Valley's high tech start-ups. So you might expect well-heeled buyers there to embrace techno watches wholeheartedly. However, that is often not the case, according to Stephen Silver who operates two boutiques in the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel. His boutiques are the only retail p
I really like Marcello C. watches even though most of their watches are more or less "revisions" of the designs of other brands. I am usually less friendly when a brand doesn't offer up too much originality, but Marcello C. has a soft place on my heart for a few reasons. First, I like their quality. I have a few of their pieces and can say that despite what you think of the origin of their designs, they do sell nicely made watches which are a good value.Second, a Marcello C. watch was my very first mechanical acquisition. This was about 8 - 9 years ago. That was a Nettuno 3 watch, and I eventually reviewed it here a while back. Marcello C. is a German based brand but had/has a US operation out of Minnesota. Their US website has been up and down, so I am not totally sure what is going on with them. You can always visit their German site and try to order watches by asking (by e-mailing them).Anyhow, here is a new watch from Marcello C. called the Hydrox. Yes, it does have (a lot) of IWC
daytona YG.jpgI had time to kill while waiting for my wife to complete some shopping and went to our local Rolex AD to "browse". I had interest in a Daytona, and wanted to see it and try one on. Surprisingly, the AD had a Stainless Steel, and (Oh, Oh!) the Daytona in Yellow Gold. I tried on bothboth are exquisite to say the least.but the yellow gold just "screamed" at me! It is amazing how much different the Daytona is in person, and on your wrist...pictures do not do it justice. Now what.the price of the watch is beyond reason, but then again, I'm realizing that Rolex owners, like me, are not exactly a very rational bunch. I want the watch, but need to find some sort of psychological reasoning that would justify the cost. Any suggestions????Saul
I really should list mine. I don't use it much anymore. The bidding is up to $375 with less than an hour to go.
Thursday is starting early for me, writing a paper in the common room with my trusty GO PanoMaticOriginal.ssme.jpgGonna be out here a while, may as well count the hours in style.
