Invicta 17496 wrist watches news:
With the new installments of the Star Wars franchise approaching faster than the Millennium Falcon in hyperdrive, Nixon are ramping-up the anticipation with the release of the new Nixon Star Wars Dark Side Collection. Following in the footsteps of the Storm Trooper and X-Wing Pilot Ranger watches that were released earlier this year (see our writeup here), the Californian brand has added a few more models celebrating some of the films' best-loved baddies. There are another six Stormtrooper models, and two more Imperial Pilot Watches. There's also an??exciting new automatic watch celebrating everyone's favourite Sith Lord, Darth Vader, along with two more models inspired by the dark master. Boba Fett bursts onto the scene with his very own Ranger model, which borrows the case shape and technical specifications of the previously released Stormtrooper and Imperial Pilot Ranger models. There's a quartz digital based on the Galaxy's most-feared bounty hunter, too. The Nixon Star Wars Dark S
The flagship new watch by Christophe Claret for 2015 is the Allegro - the Swiss watch maker's newest musical watch that combines a cathedral-style minute repeater with a second time zone indicator and a big date window. Is this the traveler-friendly minute repeater watch you've been waiting for? Once again with a "smiling dial," Claret proposes a unique combination of complications for niche high-end watch collectors who will most appreciate some of Claret's handiwork. When we last left off with Christophe Claret minute repeaters, I took a hands-on look at the Christophe Claret Soprano watch in 2013. The Soprano contains a movement with a minute repeater as well as a tourbillon - producing a beautiful and full minute repeater melody as it tells the time via chimes. The Christophe Claret Allegro isn't just a Soprano without the tourbillon and some extra complications. What you should notice first is that the movement has been flipped over, with "Charles X" bridges inspired by those on th
It's not too often we come across a watch that is really unlike anything we've seen before. Most designs play by at least some set of rules, and really wild things tend to be either very cheap or very expensive. Well, a few months ago I got the chance to meet Emmanuel Dietrich, founder of Dietrich Watches, and check out his designs, which were profoundly different. The watch had an odd shape, with crazy curves and geometry that spoke to a different idea about how watches should look and feel. The case alone really drew me in, with parts that veered greatly from the standard, and require very good manufacturing to pull off. The dial then had some wild things going on that simply pulled me in further. The concept behind the watches correspond to Dietrich's idea of organic design. Rather than drawing more from watches themselves or more man-made things (think automobiles and architecture) the design draws from nature. This isn't a new concept to design with people like Ross Lovegrove pract
To the knowledgeable PP lovers-I'm purchasing my first Patek and have a question. Is there a difference in purchasing a double sealed piece versus one that is already opened and available for trying on? Is there potential for a discount on a piece in the showcase versus a sealed safe queen? To clarify I'm buying from a PP AD. Thanks in advance.
Hi Guys : I am not a Panerai guy but I was at a watch show here in NYC and feel in love with this watch. As I said I am absolute novice when it comes to Panerai watches and was looking for advise on this particular model. The dealer was asking $26000 complete with box & papers. I looked online and found one for $21K. So I am now throughly confused. So definitely need your help. Please let me whats a decent price for this piece and the pros & cons when it comes to this model. Thanks,SamSent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
