Longines started manufacturing timing equipment in 1878 with the launch of a simple 20 ligne column-wheel chronograph, reference number 20H. Over the years, many other Longines chronograph calibers have incorporated a column-wheel mechanism. The new Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph continues this horological heritage into the 21st century. This Longines houses a new caliber developed by ETA for Longines and other brands within the Swatch Group. Seriously. I've got the maybe-an-Orson under a watchmaker's care, with another Hamilton due in the mail any day now. I keep visiting eBay "just to look", and keep spotting potential gems in blurry photos. I've got bids in on a dainty ladies Hamilton and a Bulova, and I'm watching the auction for a blurry-photo swing-lug Hamilton from one of those "I don't know anything about watches" sellers.Please, someone, cut off my internet access.

My first Hammie has arrived the Aviation QNE auto.a joy to watch (pun intended) an early X-mas present delivery from "THE" TV Network overnight, in one day...fit/finish are awesome, I'm a bit confused by the rotor statement of 27 jewels under the Hammilton name...27 I know is an ETA but , I was under the impression that I will get a 2824-2 muy be someone can chime in some needed advice?Now if I can just dream we may get a Hammie forum in the WTF...me thinkingcould make lots of folks very happyPic is lousy, is latethe piece still have all the plastic protectors on and artificial light+my horrible pictorial skills , well you know..is not going to be a Gerard take
