Longines L4.310.4.77.2 wrist watches news:
Can anyone offer any insight into what I have here and whether (and, if so, where) it can be restored ?I have a Thin-O-Matic that I inherited from my late uncle. Gold tone case ("10 Karet Gold Filled" followed by what appear to be "SXW" in a box stamped on the rim edge of the back of the case), white/silver/cream colored dial (can't really tell the original color) with a rotational "swirl" pattern, applied gold 12, 3, 6, 9 numerals with indices inbetween those four numerals, half-circle "Hamilton" below the 12 and half-circle "Automatic" above the 6 (does not have the more modern Hamilton "H" symbol), has "Swiss" in tiny letters below the six along the rim, broken lug (which I have saved). Sorry, tried to post a photo, but after the upload gets to about the half-way point, it stops and the site tells me I'm not logged in (which I am; yes, cookies accepted). Thanks.
So here's my EL WTF watch on a blck strap.. What do you think? Which do you prefer, black or brown? I'm not sure.. The black looks really classy on the wrist, but the brown goes with the dial very well
I am considering buying my first Patek Philippe. I like the vintage ones best and was wondering which model would hold its value best? Thanks!
After a fairly long search I picked up my first Panerai: a 219! I've been hoping to own a Destro for a while now so I'm pretty stoked about this one. Sorry no pics yet. I'll have the watch in exactly one week and I'll be sure to post some pics then!
Hello,I have noticed that the cyclops on my new Sub is not perfectly aligned. Is this something that happens? Should I find it acceptableThanks!EDIT:I¡äm adding this picture, of the same watch to my original post!
