Omega 123.57.35.20.55.005 wrist watches news:
Victorinox, maker of the iconic Swiss Army knives, was founded 130 years ago, in 1884. The company made its first Swiss Army watches 25 years ago, in 1989. Victorinox marked both milestones last year with the release of two new Victorinox watches: the new Inox line of tough sports watches, and a limited-edition dive watch, the Dive Master 500.The Victorinox Swiss Army Inox watch collection pays tribute to the 130th anniversary of Victorinox and is designed as a link between watchmaking and the company’s pioneering invention, the Swiss Army knife. (“Inox” is the French word for stainless steel, the material used both for knife blades and for the watch’s stamped, machined case.) Victorinox has subjected the Inox watches to a battery of toughness tests to verify them as timepieces “built to last.” Inox watches can withstand a 10-meter drop onto concrete, survive being driven over by a 64-ton tank, and emerge unscathed from two hours in both a washing ma
Hey guys! For the past 5+ years I have done my best when it comes to documenting every single WWI shrapnel guard that pops up.Who made it, who designed it, when was the design patented, what sizes was it available in..........................and so on.The design factor was the most labor intensive aspect of this task as there were dozens of radically different designs available during the Great War. Then you also have to break it down by metals, what are the guards made of.......nickel, plated tin, chrome plated, sterling silver or gold filled? Then you have to break it down again by how the guard is attached to the trench watch...........snap-on, strap-on, integrated or clam shell. But, the one that I could NEVER find was a SOLID GOLD shrapnel guard.................that is until now!Just last week I saw my very first SOLID GOLD shrapnel guard and it is now in my possession. But it gets even better.................it is a SOLID GOLD "LATH" design shrapnel guard! In my opinion the "LATH" des
Can anyone help. I need the screws and caps that attatch the strap to the pilots on case. Please advise
Can I fit a new Omega 1171 bracelet with 633 end pieces on a new 2016 Speedmaster? I'm sure I can but thought I had better double check first. I much prefer the look of 1171 bracelet - it looks more vintage.Thank you
Hi, am hoping to buy a new Speedmaster Professional in November. Will make a weekend of it in London, and am planning on looking in Watches of Switzerland, Omega Boutique and Ernest Jones etc. My question is which of these are likely to give the best deal? I know WOS and EJ do their interest free credit, and I negotiated a discount on my Sub from EJ. Just wondered what experience others have had with these stores (or any others). Also, is the Speedy Pro a watch they are likely to hold in stock, or would I be better to ring through beforehand for them to get one in? Will probably stay in Mayfair, so hope to pick one up in the West End really. Thanks in advance...
