- I was looking for a nice watch for my finace' for Xmas,, read all of the reviews and let me tell you they were all correct.. And the yellow box a few people complained about.. Incoming Chrono Colt
Been a busy week for me. Two watches in (also bought a Rolex Explorer I), one traded. I picked this up at a good price. I wanted a new chrono, and decided the chrono colt II was the one. I really like it. It's my only quartz watch, which means it's ready to go when I am. First pic of it. Nice to be back in the Breitling fold again.

Finally got off my butt and took some pictures to compile a "State of the Collection" thread. In rough order by purchase date:Tissot T-touch: my first "real" watch, a present to myself. I wore it EVERYWHERE so this one is actually a warranty replacement of the original one. Come to find out, welding is not so conducive to electronic longevity.Wenger Swiss Army: gift from my parents. Love the guilloche dial. Currently the closest thing I have to a "dress watch", but currently on the hunt for a replacement.Hamilton Khaki AirRace: The first watch I bought when I got into "collecting". Have both the orange rubber (with Hamilton deployant) and the black "leather". Amazing how it changes the look/feel of the watch. I'm not going to send it back, as it fits my needs and seems ok for the price. I had thought I had read the Hadley Roma bands were American made, but upon closer scrutiny of their site, it seems that is qualified at best.So I bought it from Amazon, who described it as this:As you can see, on the package, China:So, I guess the question is, where are good places to buy non-Chinese, nice leather straps?

Jubilee bracelet and half links?
The darndest thing happened. I¡¯ve been enjoying my DJ41 with a jubilee bracelet and the weather got cold. This is causing my wrist to shrink and now the bracelet is loose and annoying (especially in the morning). I took a link out and but by afternoon it¡¯s a little too snug and I worry about stretching.My AD said there¡¯s no half links for the jubilee.Any thoughts?
