Invicta 14922 wrist watches news:
Hi,As much as I love the look of the Sub in pictures, I think I just have to accept that my 6 1/4" wrist is just too small for it.So I'm thinking of a Datejust with a black dial and Oyster bracelet. If anyone has pictures of a DJ with black dial on an oyster bracelet, I'd love to see it! Especially a wrist shot! Thanks
Well, not really. A friend had a couple Longines watches for some measurements so the correct specs are in some of the posts in the Automatic Evolution series, and for kicks he ran a pressure test on the Ultra-Chron. It passed up to 30 meters water resistance at 41 years old - not too shabby!
Rik,I have a Ball EMII Diver which I sent back to Ball for service a couple of months ago. The watch performed much better after being serviced (a complete service according to Ball USA). Now when I try to wind the watch using the crown, it feels as though the clutch is slipping and the watch doesn't wind properly. If I move the watch in a circular motion, it does wind using the auto-winding feature. Unfortunately, this seems to make the watch gain time while I am spinning the rotor. Is this a common problem with ETA 2535-2 movememts? I am confident Ball USA would try to make the watch right with another warranty service. Given the cost of shipping it insured from Cincinnati to Florida, I am considering having it serviced locally.Any advice will be appreciated. You seem to know the art of watch repair "inside-out".Thanks in advance,Jeff
I reacquainted myself with an old friend today, my F series ROO Safari. I do really like this watch, but I find it very hard to choose it ahead of my Rolex selection. I really like the off white creamy dial, not always easy to capture in pictures. Now that's it out I've at least taken a photograph, I know that we all love a thread with a watch!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I was looking for a daily beater and this 177 (IMHO) is the premier beater. All the pam size without the weight.
