For those that do not know, a 'marriage watch' is usually a watch where the movement has been fitted into a different case for various reasons.To-day, I came accross this: R0LEX Co Ltd 25 WORLD'S RECORDS ANTIQUE WRISTWATCH 1936ORIGINAL ENAMEL DIAL & 15 JEWEL TIMED IN 6 POSITIONSOn examining the picture, we can see the crown is at 12 o clock, so we can then presume this watch is the movement from a pocket watch fitted in a new case.but I know Rolex ONLY made one (very brief) pocket watch in 19o5 period, then quickly moved to wrist watches. But according to the seller this IS an original Rolex (in a STAR case) I think NOT.But according to the seller this is an Original Rolex Face, I think NOT. Porcelain faces by 1936, I think not?The hands are wrong too.The whole watch is VERY strange. I have a 2008 Chrono Cockpit w/turquoise dial and Roman numerals. I would like to get a black dial w/Romans. My AD said he would have to send it to Breitling where they would install the dial and a new caseback with a serial number that reflects the new dial color. The cost would be $1,200.Is there a source where I can just purchase a dial ?

Hey guys just have a general question that maybe some of you can answer. I have a black Audemars survivor and wanted to understand what my options were if and when it scratched or dented. It's in mint condition right now but overtime I imagine it'll run into a brick wall somewhere. So have any of you who own a black AP, or one that is coated using their DLC process scratched or dented the case enough to show the loss of material, if so is that something that is repairable?
