Hi All:I have been researching Rolex for a Sales & Marketing class and trying to figure out the distribution channels they use. I know how to buy them, but have no idea how they get from Switzerland to my local authorize dealer. For example, does Rolex SA ship to Rolex in New York and then distributes to authorized dealers throughout a specific geographic area of the U.S.? Also, I am not aware of any other way to purchase a Rolex except from a retail outlet or private owner sale.Is there anyone that can enlighten me?Thank you,Gary

Hello Everyone - The first watch I ever purchased was a 2265.80 and I wore the heck out of it. After upgrading to a Planet Ocean, my AD offered to buff the scratches out of the clasp on the 2265.80. After about 15 minutes in the back room, he hands me my watch and it is completely polished. Took away the nice brushed finish and while many people say it looks great, I'm a purist and can't stand to wear it anymore. I don't like the polished look on this particular watch.I complained and got a great deal on a new Tag, but I'd like to get the bracelet either refinished from Omega or purchase a new one to make this look like new. Does anyone know what model number the bracelet is, or where I could find one online? I've not owned a Speedmaster in decades. Last example was a moon watch purchased c. 1969, which I traded away in 2001, and regret it.I've read that some timepieces, when not worn at night, keep more accurate time if resting in a certain position.Might anyone know if that holds true for the Speedy 9300, specifically a gray, if that matters?Any knowledge would be appreciated.Tg
