Hey gents,I've been watching prices realized on vintage seiko 6309 divers for years & they are still going strong & seem to be going up in value in the past 6 months more so than they have been. So I watched this late non-suwa 6309-7049 example that was listed as unworn which seems to be a stretch of imagination by looking at the caseback, but it still brought a very strong price at $510.00 plus shipping. 1986 Seiko Divers Watch, In Original Box, Never Worn! The earlier Suwa examples have always been more collectible than the later non suwa models by collectors, so minty examples of Suwa marked models appear to be valued atleast at 25 to 33% premiums over the later Non Suwa examples, and the prices in the future should command very noteworthy sales prices realized indeed!Keeping informed of whats going on in the world of auction values always yields useful information IMO, and makes me think of all of the premium quality early examples I've sold at much lower than true value pr

I was suprised to see Felix Leiter, American CIA Agent in the Bond movies wearing a Hamilton X-Wind. I've done a magazine review on this watch before - it's big! Did any other Hammys make it in the movie? I thought it was REALLY cool to see Hamilton in a Bond movie, and a nice tribute to the "American Classic" on the American CIA agent in the film. Please help a newbie identify this watch...
This was my fathers Longines watch. My mother gave it to him when they got married about 50 years ago. It is one of 2 watches that I have that were his. I know that the crystal is not original and I don't think this is the bracelet that was on it originally. Can you help me to identify this watch and find an approximate value? What type of bracelet or band would it have most likely had originally? I would never be interested in selling this watch as the sentimental value would far outweigh the monetary value but I would be interested in it's value. Can you recommend a good, reputable facility to have clean the movement? It is a manual winder and runs great.
