Speedy Pro Band Features vs Year
Hello,New to forum with a question about wristband on the Omega Speedmaster Professional.I have an option to buy one with s/n 4837xxxx. I have asked Omega about the serial and it checks out. They wouldn't specify the year, but from what I can find on the Internet, it looks like 1996-98, possibly 1999.However, there is no 3-digit stamp on the inside of the band where it meets the lug, and there are no lock release buttons on the sides of the clasp. Furthermore, the name and logo appear stamped, rather than finely engraved as they should be.Now to the question: I know the watch is real; however, is the band a fake, or were such features not present on the band for 1996-1999 models?Thanks in advance.

Well back in Espana after 4 weeks away and 2 FANTASTIC weeks in USA.Really Thanks to everyone that met/talked and looked after me.After 4 weeks LOTS of packages, ranging from antique watch makers tools to this LOVELY American watch from 1935.WALTHAM~~21 Jewel RIVERSIDE~Rolled Gold cushion case with fixed lugsOriginal Enamel dial~c.1935~Now lOOk at THIS movement:21 Jewel with brass chatons, bright steel winding gears, cut bi-mettalic compensated balance and precision regulator (fast/retard mechanism) (really its magnificent)Movement and Case match 100%and Adj 2 temp, NOT bad for $350Only in America!! But, I¡¯ve violated my own doctrine. I have always stated that I would never acquire a new watch without seeing it in the flesh first. There have simply been too many occasions of seeing a wrist shot of a timepiece on a forum only to be disappointed when I finally saw it in the flesh. There simply wasn¡¯t that emotional connection.When Omega presented its 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary collection during Baselworld 2017, I was immediately blown away. I could not believe that Omega didn¡¯t try to ¡°modernize¡± these pieces as its peers would have done. Granted, since I have scrawny wrists, I may be biased! These re-editions had me at a ¡°virtual hello.¡±I couldn¡¯t sleep that night. Despite my best efforts, I could not get these images out of my mind. Every time I would try to convince myself it was time to pull the trigger, the questions would come in rapid fire: What about my sworn doctrine? Is seeing truly believing? Are these images perhaps a little too promotional with lighting tricks? How w

Im so attracted to this model but this is the only picture I could find.In the page I found it (fratello watches) it says that it is a red gold broad arrow speedmaster schumacher edition however, if a google it that way nothing appears.I love the red gold, the black bezel, and the rubber strap of this model, can anyone confirm me what model is this or the reference number please?Thanks a lot.
