Each year I head to Hershey PA with my Uncle for a wondrous event called the "Porsche Swap Meet". cpa-pca.org/swap/ Thousands of afficionado's go there to buy used parts from other Club members, and gaze at all the cars, usually over 1000 Porsches in one place, the largest gathering in the US. They have a concours event (cleanest, nicest version of a particular model wins the event) and some people sell other auto related items. I was looking through one of the guy's tables and was very surprised to see the following it was an intersection between my 2 loves, Rolexes and PorschesI had never seen these before so I took the pics for you guys. Additionally, I met a gentleman from my Porsche Webforum that also drove up from the DC area. I had only seen him once before at an event. I noticed (immediately) that he had on a Pepsi GMT2 and we sat down and had lunch for a while, but I decided not to bring it up. I wanted to refer him to WTF bu

Hey guys!There's a new sticky at the top of this forum on how to pronounce those pesky watch names.With well over a hundred active brands out there, the list is far from complete. I'll keep my eye out for new additions and you can do so as well.Any (brand)name is open to consideration. Some names, like Rolex, Harwood, Kobold, etc. are the same in all languages and don't need to go on the list. Some definitely need to be there. But we won't know for sure unless and until someone asks.So if you were ever curious- here's your opportunity to find out. Or to let me know what's missing.

First Rolex Incoming!!
Hey every, as some of you know I have been in the market for a Rolex and was inbetween a Rhodium YM or SubC date. I went into my AD today as he had both in stock to try and figure out which one I was going to purchase (in the FUTURE).Ultimately decided that the YM was a little too flashy and the Sub was just timeless, perfect, and everything I was looking for in my first Rolex (currently wear a Tag Formula Chrono).I tried to wheel a deal...and got the option to ship out of state withba small discount. I was really back and forth on whether or not I should pull the trigger (like my whole neck was red and my girlfriend was laughing because I was nervous/excited). Ultimately I decided to walk out because I really wanted to wait a little longer......30 minutes later I calle day AD and said screw it!!! Let¡¯s put a bow on it!
