Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 47300 wrist watches news:
Can any one recommend an excellent watch dial restoration company In any country ? .
Just back from Sin City, which is officially sponsored by Rolex! You can't turn around without bumping into a Rolex Clock, advertisement or dealer, authorized and gray market.Rolex and Vegas go together like a hot dog and mustard. But there are lots of very interesting watch stores. I cruised a few, but frequently I was with other people so I didn't want to bore them by making them wait for hours while I played horologist. The one place I would recommend is Tourneau at the Ceasar's Forum Shops. The range of watches there - Patek to Swiss Army - kicks butt. Saw the new IWC DaVinci (and the old) and tried them on. Nice stuff. But hugely expensive.Choppard has a stand alone boutique at the Forum, too.So there's my recommendation: when in Vegas go to the Forum!
Being a Lume junkie...I sent this one out as well and imo looks 100x better
Are there any rules of thumb for regulating an automatic (Swiss) movement by leaving the watch in a different position overnight? For example, watch runs slow, leave it crown down overnight. Runs fast, crown up. I'm refering to ETA movements. I thought I saw that Rolex instructions come with this sort of information.
Hello chaps, 1st time posting in this part of the forum...I was wondering why people seem to completely dismiss the AP T3 watch. Is it simply the size? Or is there another fundamental reason?I actually tried one on recently and it was surprisingly light and comfortable and didn't look as ridiculous as expected - my daily wear is a Rolex SDDS so I'm used to big time-pieces.There are a few around for sale but don't seem to move quickly. Is it one of those LE's that will just fade away with time?I'd love some opinions.....Cheers!
