Zenith 03.2040.400/04.C496 wrist watches news:
Query:Are Air King bracelet end links AK specific? It is a 19 mm end-link?Is there a stainless jubilee bracelet that will perfectly fit the AK with no issues?I've only been able to find that the existing band is the 79190, shared with the [34mm] Date.I'm considering the 114200pao; the "pink" is dark enough to call salmon.Switch to a sized jubilee, and the watch does double duty, on my wife's wrist.
On October 15, 1940 Hamilton introduced the 992B, also an Elinvar hairspring. All watches were fitted with that spring which was 36% nickel steel.Source: Collecting Watches by Shugart and Hanson
Thought I'd post this message as a reminder.. We posted these valuable guidelines last June, but as they're an annual pest I thought it was good to remind everyone again this year Please take a look when you have a minute DON'T FEED THE TROLLS! :D :D :D
So I'm asking this same question in another thread about the 96 I'm eager to buy but thought I'd post one regarding this particular issue as well. How deterred would you be if the dial you specifically liked on a vintage PP was not the original but one that PP swapped out during service decades ago?
Ok mates... My question is that I am having concerns about my new 5167 clasp on rubber strap. My understanding in closing the clasp is palm up and then fold the left piece over and click it into place. Then, fold the right side of the clasp over and click it into place. The problem is that when I fold the right half over to click it into place the left piece pops open almost every time. What I've been doing is when I click the left piece down, I fold the right piece over and put pressure on the right and left piece together to click it into place. This seems to work but it was my understanding that you fold each piece individually to fasten the buckle. With that said, is this normal or is there something wrong with the buckle in your opinion ?? Thanks for your help.
