The newest Titanic DNA watch from Romain Jerome expressly indicates what it is, "Steampunk." Instead of just hinting at the idea and playing with the concept, this watch has "Steampunk" in the name, and fashions the watch as such. Granted, a lot of the steampunk appointments of the watch are for show only, it still looks pretty cool. The watch starts with an RJ 2 automatic tourbillon movement that has a very cool anchor shaped rotor. The movement is made by Concepto for Romain Jerome and is a new level of luxury being a tourbillon movement that is self-winding.The Tourbillon Steampunk Ala Grande is 50mm wide with a case that is made of steel (rusted, satin finished, and polished), titanium, and rubber. Fakes Getting Better And Better, Such A Pain To Buy pre Owned From Privates.
Hi To everyone, I want to share an episode that happened to me in these days. I was proposed a Audemars Piguet Barrichello, pre owned in mint condition from a private seller. So I said : if the price is good I will go for it l After a long chat, the private seller was saying that he lost the original warranty, can happen. .. The day after we meet in my showroom and after a great look at the watch I wasn't 100% sure about his originality. So I decided do bring it to my watchmaker and after opening the caseback the verdict was clear.... Be carefull, and buy only from reputable sellers!!!!

Another discontinued model?
Hi all, after the ceramic diver being discontinued another stunning AP seems to not be produced anymore as I don't find it on their website, I am talking about the full RG skeleton but the non date model, there are 2 RG skeleton models on the AP website, the full RG with date, and the non date but on strap, I suppose that you can buy the bracelet separately, I wanted to know was it always like that or is this new?Of course since with AP it's always possible, at least as I understand, to choose strap or bracelet which is something I think all high end brands should allow instead of making you choose without being able to swap, and this is a HUGE positive aspect for me about AP On Chrono 24 there is a non date full RG on sale, did the seller buy it on strap and add the RG bracelet later or is it a model that AP used to produce but stopped like for the divers?AS far as I can tell from the pics it's exactly the same dial as the non date on strap.Here's pics of the 3, the first one being ab

1966 14k solid gold seamaster value
Just curious what the going rate for a 1966 solid 14k gold seamaster is. Has a 14 gold filled original omega band with some wear to the plating and some stretch. Few scratches to the clasp. The dial is in great shape with only a few small spots. I have the original papers and box in great shape. It was my grandfather's watch since new and I'm wondering if I should be wearing it on a regular basis. If the value is too high I might go easy on it. The picture is not all that great but you can see the dial fairly well. Thanks!
