- This watch impressed me immediately. Shiny, pretty, weighty. Removing the links to make it fit was a simple matter. This can be worn with the dial up, as a watch or with the dial down, as a lovely bracelet because the clasps are so attractive.

Omega 23113432203001 wrist watches news:
I know the first think you see when you look at the new Certina DS-1 is the Tag Heuer Carrera. Yes the hands and face look devilishly similar, and the bracelet might as well being out the Tag Heuer parts bin, not that the Certina has anything to do with Tag Heuer, corporately speaking that is. No, Certina is one of the many Swatch Group brands, and as such can enjoy ETA movements for years to come. Regardless, Certina still loves to "imitate" Tag Heuer designs routinely. Tag Heuer falls under the LVMH group of brands.Certina watches aren't too common in the US, being mostly reserved as a low to mid-priced watch for more established watch markets. Regardless, Certina is a respectable brand, with a good level of quality for what you pay. The DS-1 takes you back to a time before digital watches when you needed to have high legibility analog watches, with a sporty flair. When you first digest the Certina DS-1, it is noticeably retro, but enjoys a good deal of refinement in it's handsome ap

Hello to all, new member and possibly new Hamilton owner here. I am considering a Roman numeral and dateless Intramatic from the late 1960s. Watch will go to auction and appears sound and supposedly serviced. Being new, I am naturally cautious about fakes (possibility?) and something assembled from foreign parts. I am also curious about the serial numbers , can anyone advise the sort of numbering I should expect to find. The watch simply states Hamilton Intramatic in two lines beneath the 12. The word Geneve does not appear. Any advise would be gratefully accepted. Thank you. John.
I'm impressed.I've been reading about this watch for a while now, so I had high expectations going in.I think they all have been met or exceeded.I'll discuss briefly in the order that I noticed them.ClaspI think the first thing I noticed is the clasp of the bracelet. It is made of a seemingly thicker stock of steel than other clasps I own. The surfaces are smooth and the edges rounded nicely, giving it a good feel. I like the push-button deployment. Even the first flip-over lock snaps into place securely by interlocking with the ends of a springbar (hard to explain).Dial ColorI'd seen a ton of great pics of the OM (thanks to all the posters here) so I knew what to expect of the color. It is a very rich shade of orange, I'd say. But there is something about the hands and the indices and the calendar that gives the impression of strong contrast and sharpness of detail.Weight / BalanceIt feels very substantial to hold. Bracelet seems to hold it's own against the case somehow, makin
