New member seeks Intramatic advice and help
Hello to all, new member and possibly new Hamilton owner here. I am considering a Roman numeral and dateless Intramatic from the late 1960s. Watch will go to auction and appears sound and supposedly serviced. Being new, I am naturally cautious about fakes (possibility?) and something assembled from foreign parts. I am also curious about the serial numbers , can anyone advise the sort of numbering I should expect to find. The watch simply states Hamilton Intramatic in two lines beneath the 12. The word Geneve does not appear. Any advise would be gratefully accepted. Thank you. John.

I'm impressed.I've been reading about this watch for a while now, so I had high expectations going in.I think they all have been met or exceeded.I'll discuss briefly in the order that I noticed them.ClaspI think the first thing I noticed is the clasp of the bracelet. It is made of a seemingly thicker stock of steel than other clasps I own. The surfaces are smooth and the edges rounded nicely, giving it a good feel. I like the push-button deployment.
