- I received this watch in a timely fashion. It has been working fine for 3 weeks now - and expect it to continue for months. I really like the night light feature. I would order it again.

Cartier W20056D6 wrist watches news:
Hi to all..I just noticed that I had made 99 posts and I had never introduced myself, so for post 100 I figure this would be a good time to do it.I am 45 years of age, I live in Dublin in Ireland and got into mechanical watches by accident about 6 months ago, I hovered here a little before joining in October. Since joining I have had the pleasure to share in the experiences of your your new purchases and the enthusiasm you show in watches in general. I started reading the older posts in the beginners forum and decided that I needed to stop making impulsive purchases and try educate myself a little about what this hobby involves. CH has been very helpful in correcting my grammer and has offerered some nice words, ulackfocus has saved me from making a silly purchase on a dodgy Omega and I enjoyed our posts about the Longines Ultra-Chron. The rest of the guys have been very kind about my very cheap little collection and offerered friendly advice and responded positively to other threads
Just wondering what the Breitling experts here think of the chronomat as a daily wear/beater.
Ok so I just received my first Omega from Greg and it's a FOIS.The band is 19mm, is this size common to all Moon watches or just FOIS?19mm is kinda rare, so would you replace the band with a 20mm or 18mm?Looking a C&B vintage leather 2 piece. Thanks in advance guys.
Like your watch not quite being wound properly and stopping? I have two PP winding boxes for my perpetuals, and for whatever reason the watches run out of power while on them for a day or two. Yes, the little switch at the bottom is set to cal 240, the batteries are new and the watches face me when I turn the winders on... they SEEM to run appropriately at a gentle speed for 8 hours, stopping for 16 hours before resuming their 24 hour cycle (which is standard)... If they are running a bit slow, then BOTH boxes are running a bit slow because they seem to be rotating at the same pace. The watches run perfectly if they are on my wrist, and die down after about 36-40+ hours if I leave them be, which is consistent with their power reserve specification. So it's not the watches.Yes, the best winder is my own wrist - I totally agree with this. But sometimes when I travel and bring my 5711 instead, I kind of like keeping the perpetuals in a winding box to spare myself the adjustment when I
Hi there,Been looking around London today for the new sea-dweller and getting the usual exasperated gasps when asking about it. Told it's a 7 year waiting list etc. I was told the same with the batman but managed to get one after 8 months of constant digging. My question is, does anyone know if they are more readily available anywhere else in the world? Preferably Europe. Getting a SS sport model in the uk is painful.
