J springs automatic, Sekio brother.
Ive always had Swiss auto or manual watches. While searching though *bay I came across a very nice looking watch by J Springs (under the Seiko brand) the watch has a 21 J automatic movement, 100m water resistant, glass back, so as a matter of interest (non Swiss watch) I ordered one.The watch came today, and im amazed with the quality, the face is as detailed as my Oris Chronometer, the second hand has a nice sweep, the case is part polished and matt steel, lovely blue hands and barrels, brown leather strap with white stitches. If this was a 'mid to top end' Swiss maker Id be more than happy to pay £400-500, but it was the grand price of..........wait for it...............£23 inc P&P!!!!! the strap is worth £20 at least.This has really shocked me, look at my collection, this watch looks very nice with all that Swiss lot! They make a GMT version, for 200th the price of a Rolex GMT Master, might be worth a punt!PS sorry spelt Seiko incorrectly in the title

Open face watches
I was just browsing through some Zenith watches (they so pretty!) and noticed the number of open faced watches they have. I don't think I'm a real fan of the look. Don't get me wrong, I love looking at a nice movement and appreciate the craftsmanship. But I just don't know about how they look as part of the face.I know a lot of people do like them, but was wondering how many felt like I do?
I was just browsing through some Zenith watches (they so pretty!) and noticed the number of open faced watches they have. I don't think I'm a real fan of the look. Don't get me wrong, I love looking at a nice movement and appreciate the craftsmanship. James Bond Watch Review - Omega Seamaster 300M
I have to admit that I am a James Bond fan. But it was until recently I came to know about the Omega Seamaster 300 association with James Bond. Omega Seamaster 300M has been on James Bond wrist for almost 2 decades now. It all started when the New James Bond (then) Pierce Brosnan needed a new 007 watch. So, here is the current State of the Collection.I'm tying to get something a little more special for my next.I love the 16610 and the 116610LV. The Black Bay is incredible to look at, but if I'm honest, I gravitate to the Submariners, but it is such a value, I don't see selling it as much of a benefit. Right now the PAM 232 price is in the TANK. Seriously, if anyone has thought about getting one before, get it now. The brown on the dial is perfect. I'm wearing this one today, but I feel like I can't wear it all the time due to its size.I've had a couple PCL models now that have come and gone. The 116710LN and the 116520 black dial. Something about the Daytona, I always thought I would mar it up and that isn't a watch that looks good scratched IMHO. Because of this I have shied away from AP 15300/15202. Those things are to pretty to scratch! Feel like I'd be holding my wrist away from my body all the time and look like a nut.At the time I felt the 116710LN didn't fit me well a
