Seiko Seiko 2828 wrist watches news:
Written by Andrew Morgan for watches-dealerThe StoryIf there's ever been a story of zero to hero, it's that of the Rolex Daytona. Unloved and unwanted, selling barely 500 units annually in its formative years, the Rolex Daytona has grown to become one of the most coveted watches of all time, commanding year-long waiting lists and astonishing residuals. The question is, how did that happen? This is the journey that turned Rolex's loser of a David into a hulking great Goliath. The Sixties was the decade of the sports chronograph. Jack Heuer's appointment as CEO of Heuer guided the launch of the Autavia in 1962 and the Carrera in 1963. Omega's Speedmaster was among the first to the game, introduced at the tail end of the Fifties. But the chronograph was no new invention; seen as early as 1816 in Louis Moinet's astronomical pocket watch, and in smaller wristwatch form at the beginning of the 20th century, the chronograph was old news. Well, I had this service replacement insert on a 16800. I decided to put the original tritium insert back on and move the service replacement insert to one of the LVs.I'm kinda liking it so far,Bit of a comparison,
Hi I'm looking for purchase a Muhle Glashutte marinus from Luxusuhren gnstig kaufen | Uhren Ankauf | Luxusuhren gebraucht | Miquel and I noticed they have a model listed that is the Muhle Glashutte marinus II. This model isn't listed on the Muhle Glashutte site and i'm wondering if it's authentic? The only marinus listed on MG's site is the standard Marinus. Also I think the standard marinus looks a bit nicer but i don't want the rubber strap does anyone know if you can purchase the stainless steal black strap for the original marinus. I'm a little cautious about buying such an expensive watch online and I'm following up every detail. Hope someone can help me.Thanks!!
What is the best looking watch for you.....Imagine you just won a lotto and want to buy three 'good looking' watches - one witha simple dial, one complicated and one Grand Complication. You have all the money you need and you could never sell these watches and to make things complicated, the watch would come without any manufacturers name on the dial ;)Here are my 3 entries:Simple:Lange & Sohne - RICHARD LANGE "Pour le M¨¦rite" with the fus¨¦e-and-chain transmission & three-part enamel dialComplicated:Patek Perpetual calendar 3450 (now discontinued) with beautifully clean dial for a perpetual calendar Grand ComplicationPatek Philippe 5016 (perpetual calendar with apertures an retrograde date, tourbillion, minute repeater)What are you going to buy with your new found fortune ?? ;)
I have a White Gold Daytona and a White Gold GMT Pepsi. I recently bought a SD43 but felt it didn’t fit into my current collection being much bigger. I have today ordered an August 2016 complete set SD4K described as 9.9/10 condition. All being well it will be with me on Thursday and will complete my Land, Air & Sea Rolex 40mm Trifecta.
