New member - and my story
Hi all,Just wanted to introduce myself - as a new owner of an Omega GMT in blue 2535.88.00 which I just purchased and am now awaiting delivery.And here is my story.Ever since I was able to understand the necessity and reasons behind having a good watch - one that would serve you years and years - there was probably one particular watch that I always adored - and you guess right - the "Bond" Seamaster model in Blue. The watch was so clear, clean and just - how can I say it - the most useful all-purpose watch I have come across.However, by the time I was "hooked", being a student I was not able - or willing - to achieve that dream.I still remember - as a student - being in Japan, and one of my fellow classmates who was with me in Japan had a SMP in Black. I loved the watch, the weight, the built and all the other stuff about it. Surely, I hated him for having this watch since I didn’t.So, during the year in Japan, I started my "watchseek" mission…It all started with a Citize

need help from ORIS owners
Hello, I would like some input from ORIS owners on durability and reliability of your watches. My brother recently bought a divers,second,date, and when I saw it I fell in love with it. I have been looking at the divers date and the Titan date, my question to you is other than diving how tough are these things in the real world, I am an avid outdoorsmen and would like a watch that can handle it as well as look good. I was looking at the Tissot T-touch experts but now I want an Oris, just want to make the right choice. Thanks

Suggestions on refurbishing this watch.
A watch I acquired via my grandmother that I'd like to have to wear as a dress watch.Problem: where or how do I go about getting the work done and what would it cost in ballpark figures? It winds, but won't unwind...if I carefully push this thing then the spring will unwind but the hands never turn. Anyhow...it obviously need a lot of work...and a strap.Is it worth it?You tell me.It would be nice if it was done locally, but I have no idea where to go, other than my mothers jeweler who makes custom jewelery and he told me he has a guy that helps him out on vintage restorations.Thanks

Hello everyone I am looking for a ladies Calatrava in either white gold or platinum.It will be a gift for my wifeI have a Calatrava 5127 and I think that it will be very cute if I could find a ladies Calatrava that has a very similar casing.Alternatively I think an Ap or a vc would do just as well but since I have a Calatrava I thought it might be kinda cool for her to have a matching watch.Any ideas?
