What German watch alternatives to Sinn/Stowa/Damasko?
Hello, I was wondering if someone would be able to point me in the right direction of which brand of watch to purchase.I am wanting to buy a German watch for my fiance, as I know he likes the simple styling of the Sinn, Stowa and Damasko watches. Unfortunatley I cannot afford to buy any of those particular brands. My budget is in the region of ��200, and I would like to buy him an equally stylish watch.My 1st question is - Is it silly of me to buy a watch for him that isn't one of the 3 brands he likes, and are the other makes like Junkers, Messerschmit and Aristo not as good? My 2nd questions is - If it isn't silly - what brands should I be looking at? So far I have been looking at Junkers, Aristo & Trias, but have since realised that Trias is not a true German watch. I hope I have given enough information. Thank you for reading.

Wolf designs 1.5 winder
Please excuse my complete ignorance, but I have just bought a Wolf Designs module 1.5 winder without instructions. I know it looks simple but could someone please explain how it works. Is "a" clockwise? "b" anti clockwise and "c" bi directional? Or is there some other combination? Also when I put my Submariner on the holding pad the winder seems to stick a bit. its very free when no watch is attached. Is my sub too big? thanks for any help Knoffie
