Omega 232.30.44.22.01.002 wrist watches news:
A. Lange & S?hne’s newly-redesigned Saxonia Automatic features a larger and slimmer case and a new self-winding movement. The understated aesthetics incorporate fundamental Lange design elements, and the all-new Lange manufacture calibre L086.1 features signature touches such as hand engraving and Lange’s proprietary in-house balance spring. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. The movement is only 3.7mm thick. In contrast to their predecessors, the white and pink gold cases of the Saxonia Automatic have grown to a diameter of 38.5mm. At the same time, the watches are now noticeably thinner, measuring only 7.8mm in overall height. Thanks to the gently chamfered bezel, the solid-silver argent¨¦ dial looks larger than ever, showcasing the slender baton hour markers, solid-gold lancet hands, and the concisely graduated minute scale. The watch is available in 18K pink or white gold. The applied hour markers and the lancet hands are made of the same gold alloy. The U.S. suggested
If you are looking for a good priced, well mannered, and large sized pilot style watch, this just might be the piece for you. Archimede released their next Pilot automatic watch with the Pilot XL Automatik. The watch takes everything you like about the traditional simple Pilot watch look and ups the size from 39mm or 42mm to 45mm. The crown itself is 8mm thick. This is actually a good size making for a decidedly large watch that I would NOT describe as being silly big. "That giant watch looks ridiculous on your wrist!" .is not a statement this watch will attract. The Archimede Pilot XL is housed in a steel case (made by Ickler) with a brushed finish, and the sapphire crystal has a double AR coating - so it is quite easy to view and won't really have glare. The dial is simple with high contrasting numerals and blued hands coated with lots of lume. It is a classic looking and highly functional watch face. Inside the watch is an ETA 2824-2 movement which is visible through the mineral glas
Rolex Submariner 14060m, please forgive my lack of knowledge on all things Rolex, but if Rolex is not planning to replace the Bezel and bracelet to the "upgrades" of the newest sub, does that mean they will discontinue the no date sub altogether? Or just wait another year?Thanks,D-
What happens in 5 years? Can one watchmaker handle all the different types or movements?I am on the cusp of buying my first > $150 mechanical Based on my current wish list plus what I currently own, when I look ahead in 5 years my collection may look something like this:-Stowa with ETA 2824-Stowa with ETA Unitas 6498-Hamilton X-Wind with Valjoux 7750-Lum-Tec with an SII JAPAN NH25A11J -Seiko with a 7s26-Vostok Europe with a Vostok 2426 movementSome may not be worth servicing just based on cost vs value of watch, but the examples are more to show the diversification of movements. My interrelated questions:1) When they are all due for a service in 5+ years, will I have to (should I) send the Stowas to Germany, the Lum-Tec to Ohio, the Seiko to their Servicing center, the VE to Lithuania? (or to other authorized servicers of their brand)2) Is it possible to find a local watchmaker who can service all these watches without any issues? 3) Will I have to hunt down different people or shops
I am looking to purchase my first AP ROO and I could use some help. I would like the case in the 41-43mm range and prefer a rubber or alligator etc. bracelet. I am open on dial and it does not have to be the chronograph. I would like to keep the budget between 10k-15k please help educate me on the best values out there for me. Also resale value is a big consideration. Thank you for the help.
